Queen’s Comedy Club is pleased to announce that yet another comedy legend; Phil Nichol will be taking to the stage on Wednesday the 11th February to kick off proceedings for another new year. Joining Phil to bring us into 2009 is the great Scottish comic Kevin Bridges with Colum McDonnell taking up compere duties one last time.
Phil Nichol
Having spent the last three years making a name for himself as an actor in the West End, Phil is returning to his roots, doing stand up. Phil's solo performances have earned him huge critical acclaim and many awards. He is a Tasmanian devil with a guitar, wickedly funny songs and superb improvisational skills.

Kevin Bridges
Despite having not set foot in a comedy club before his first open mic spot in 2004, Kevin’s natural gift for comedy has ensured he has become a regular at major comedy clubs up and down the country including The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, and Jongleurs. In 2006 he performed his debut solo show to critical acclaim at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, in addition to Television & Radio work including appearances on The Comedy Store and The World Stands Up.
Colum McDonnell
What Colum McDonnell lacks in stature, he gains in laughter. The “wee” man from Dundalk has established himself on the Irish comedy circuit with an unusual outlook on life. A Queen’s Comedy favourite, this is Colum’s last night as compere before normal service is resumed with Colin Murphy. So Let Colum’s tales of magpies, trains and sinking ships leave you laughing your little wet pants off!
